A COMPLETE GUIDE TO KEYBOARD SHORTCUT KEYS

Shortcut keys play a very important role while using a computer. The user can navigate very quickly by using these computer software programs.Most of the short cuts can be found just by looking at the underlined letters in their menus. For example have a look at the picture below here you will notice that F in the file is underlined. So you can press Alt key and F to access the file menu.

What are F1 through F12 keys?

F1:

Ctrl + C or Ctrl + Insert:
This short cut helps to copy highlighted text or selected item
Ctrl + V or Shift + Insert:
Both these help to paste the text or object which is in clipboard.
Ctrl + Z and Ctrl + Y:

will move one word at a time highlighting the each word.

Wanna save file while working on the document or any program this short cut helps you to save the file. It is better to
use this short cut key frequently when you are working on important documents.
Ctrl + Home or Ctrl +End:
Ctrl +Home help to move the cursor to the beginning of the document
Ctrl + End help to move the cursor to the end of the document.
Ctrl + P:
You can view the print preview of the document which you wish to print.
Page up space bar and Page down:
Using these keys will move that page one page at a time in that particular direction. More over while browsing the
internet pressing the space bar also moves the page down one page at a time.
We use Space bar to move one page down at a time. Later to move the page up at a time use Shift key + space bar
